Gun Rights

Michigan law provides that if you have been convicted of a felony you may not use, possess transport, sell or carry a firearm for a period of either three or five years. After this period has elapsed limited firearm rights  will either be returned to you automatically, or you will be required to actively seek such rights in a court of law.

If you are eligible, and your rights weren’t automatically given to you, you can petition the court to restore your rights after the expiration of five years from the following: (1) you have paid all fines imposed for the violation, (2) you have served all terms of imprisonment imposed for the violation, and (3) you have successfully completed all conditions of probation or parole imposed for the violation.

Dena has been successful in getting gun rights restored for many clients. They report that the process was easy and quick with her help.
